A series of simple wall objects that can be manipulated and played with by the viewer. The body of work started as a bit of a joke on Walter Benjamin. The real object creates an aura or shadow for the representation of a candle. The facsimile breaks from the real because it has a solid form representing the light source or flame, The real shadow then is false. Later versions utilize fabricated electric candles in lieu of anything remotely real. Variations and playful narratives included.
